David Blair is the Chief Executive Officer of HealthExtras and is responsible
for the overall management of the Company, which includes the supplemental
benefits programs and the pharmacy benefits management services. In 1997,
David joined a predecessor of HealthExtras as Chief Financial Officer and
directed a national marketing research campaign for the development of the
Company's supplemental benefits programs. In 1999, he was named Chief
Executive Officer and became a Director of the Company's Board of
Directors. Prior to his association with HealthExtras, David was the Finance
Manager of United Payors & United Providers, Inc., focusing on its initial
public offering and several strategic acquisitions.
Nick J. Grujich
Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Officer
Nick Grujich is the Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Officer and is responsible for
managing the operations of the Company, including the supplemental benefits programs and pharmacy benefits management services. Between February and
June 2005, Nick served as the Chief of Operations for Catalyst Rx, the pharmacy benefits management subsidiary of HealthExtras. Prior to joining
HealthExtras, Nick was the Vice President of Finance & Administration at Eckerd Health Services, Inc., a division of Eckerd Corporation, and
Director of Finance at Penn Group Medical Associates, a division of Coventry Health Care, Inc.
Hai V. Tran
Treasurer & Chief Financial Officer
Hai Tran joined HealthExtras, Inc. in July 2008 as Treasurer & Chief Financial Officer.
He is responsible for development and implementation of the Company’s financial strategy, as well as managing its day-to-day financial affairs.
From 2006 to 2008, Hai served as Vice President and Treasurer of Hanger Orthopedic Group, a public healthcare services, products, and distribution company.
From 2002 to 2006, he served as Senior Vice President of Strategic Development and Emerging Solutions for Cadmus Communications, a public printing, packaging, and publishing services company.
His previous experience also includes finance and operations positions in various industries including technology, software, retail, and consumer products.
Bruce F. Metge
General Counsel & Corporate Secretary
Bruce Metge joined HealthExtras, Inc. in July 2008 as General Counsel and Corporate Secretary.
He is responsible for managing the legal affairs of the HealthExtras group of companies including corporate oversight, governance, and compliance with securities laws.
Bruce provides legal and business counsel to senior management and the Board of Directors and has significant experience in transactional, litigation, antitrust, compliance and general business matters.
He was most recently a partner in the law firm of Mintz, Levin, Cohn, Ferris, Glovsky and Popeo, P.C., with 18 years combined service.
From 2000 to 2004, he was the General Counsel for Digex Incorporated.
