David Blair is the Chief Executive Officer of HealthExtras and is responsible
for the overall management of the Company, which includes the supplemental
benefits programs and the pharmacy benefits management services. In 1997,
David joined a predecessor of HealthExtras as Chief Financial Officer and
directed a national marketing research campaign for the development of the
Company's supplemental benefits programs. In 1999, he was named Chief
Executive Officer and became a Director of the Company's Board of
Directors. Prior to his association with HealthExtras, David was the Finance
Manager of United Payors & United Providers, Inc., focusing on its initial
public offering and several strategic acquisitions.
Nick J. Grujich
Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Officer
Nick Grujich is the Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Officer and is responsible for
managing the operations of the Company, including the supplemental benefits programs and pharmacy benefits management services. Between February and
June 2005, Nick served as the Chief of Operations for Catalyst Rx, the pharmacy benefits management subsidiary of HealthExtras. Prior to joining
HealthExtras, Nick was the Vice President of Finance & Administration at Eckerd Health Services, Inc., a division of Eckerd Corporation, and
Director of Finance at Penn Group Medical Associates, a division of Coventry Health Care, Inc.
Michael P. Donovan
Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer
Mike Donovan is the Executive Vice President of Corporate Development and Chief Financial
Officer. In 2006 Mike was appointed Executive Vice President of Corporate Development, responsible
for developing the Company's strategic business relationships and product development.
Mike joined the Company in 1999 as Treasurer & Chief Financial Officer, and led the development
and implementation of the Company's financial strategy, as well as managing its financial affairs and
merger and acquisition activities. From 1998 to 1999, Mike was engaged in a variety of technology
and business development activities for HealthExtras. Prior to his association with HealthExtras, Mike
was the Senior Vice President of Business and Technology Development for PHP Healthcare Corporation,
served as the Chief Financial Officer of Direct Health, Inc., and was the Senior Manager for KPMG LLP
formerly KPMG Peat Marwick), where he was responsible for a variety of technology and health care clients.
Thomas M. Farah
General Counsel & Corporate Secretary
Tom Farah is the General Counsel & Corporate Secretary of HealthExtras where he has been responsible
for managing the legal affairs of the Company since 2002. In 2003, Tom was appointed the Company's Corporate Secretary. Prior to his association with
HealthExtras, Tom was the General Counsel of Federal Medical, Inc., a health care financial services organization, and a Partner with the law firm of
Epstein Becker & Green, P.C., providing legal advice to health care companies on regulatory, corporate and transactional matters for over 22
years.
